Trends to love this Fall

The last week of August is the conventional time to start looking for next season’s trends. Fall traditionally means tartan, tweed, pleated skirts and trenches, but in the last years, or since the street style became the main source for designers’ inspiration, the transition is slightly washed out. There are all these recurrent pieces and then the novelties, the brand new patterns and the vintage ones. The old mingles with the new and there was no better time to be alive – or maybe the 20’s.

Diversity is the key word in every outfit seen on the catwalk. Plaids and feathers, black and blue, metallics and velvet – here is our selection:

Feathers & Fringes

Soft trimmings for a still warm night out – ostrich feathers and embellished fringes can alternate the old sequin dress.

Plaids & Checks

One can never have too many glen plaid clothes. The checked coats for this fall are our favorites and they come in every size and length.

Red outfits

This season’s challenge is to find your perfect shade of red – or mix them just right.

Power suit

Whoever said that fashion illustrates social dynamics was right. There are so many interesting proposals that you might turn the office into a stylistic playground.

Metallica

This one is here to stay, as we’ve been witnessing its metamorphosis for seasons at a run. This Fall though it’s all about constructivism and sharp edges.

Velvet touch

Again one of our favorites, the velvet is back! Try mixing a midnight blue piece with a black one for a real statement.
