National museum of Art of Romania october 2013 – January 2014

British Council is the UK’s organisation for international cultural relations and education, established in 1934 and operating in more than 100 countries. The British Council owns an outstanding art collection of British contemporary art, founded in 1935 and comprising more than 8500 works by over 1650 artists. A part of this collection will be exhibited at the National Museum of Art of Romania, from October 2013 to January 2014, for celebrating the 75th anniversary of the British Council Romania.
