Christian Zacharis – among the few who has recorded Mozart’s concerts twice

A decade after the end of Mozart piano concertos integral (between 1981 and 1991), Christian Zacharias began a second drive, this time with the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra, orchestra that he conducts since 2000. Zacharias’ lecture has clarity and freshness, purity and dramatism, the pianist succeeds a balance between sobriety and inventism. After his famous recordings of works by Scarlatti, Schubert or Schumann, this integral of Mozart’s concerts  is already considered reference of the new millennium.
