What made you get involved in this new entrepreneurial project?

Chanand emerged from a personal need. For over 20 years, I have been faced with pigmentation problems that were not being solved by any product, no matter how famous or expensive it was. That is how my search began in nutrition, traditional Chinese medicine, skincare for a formula that really works.

Chanand is not a business designed around trends, but a solution born from real experience, tested by me and built with seriousness and an obsession for pure efficiency. I name it Chanand which means Essence of Happiness in Hindi.

What differentiates Chanand from other skincare products?

Chanand starts from a simple but rarely encountered principle: less is better. We use active ingredients in real concentrations, without perfume, without dyes, without irritants. The formula is unique, concentrated in active ingredients, with scientifically proven results. A single product contains 6–7 active ingredients, that is, as much as the skin needs daily. The products are adapted to this geographical area, without added glycerin. Our products are effective and responsibly formulated respecting the highest global safety and quality standard “Props 65 California Compliant, USA” Chanand does not promise miracles overnight, but delivers visible results, without compromise. It is a brand that addresses those who want quality, transparency and efficiency.

What ingredients do you consider essential in a quality cream and which ones should not exist?

A quality cream must contain emollient ingredients that support the skin in the regeneration processes, such as vegetable oils/fats or parts thereof; ingredients that repair the skin and support good hydration (example: betaine, panthenol); and active ingredients that solve a specific skin problem – or several, especially for adult skin. Active ingredients that have real scientific support are essential: pure vitamin C, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid with the right molecular weight, ceramides, unrefined vegetable oils, stable antioxidants.

And, equally important, it must not contain silicones, paraffin, mineral oils, PEG, PPG, BHT, phenoxyethanol, parabens, SLS, high concentrations of glycerin and alcohol. I also believe that synthetic fragrances (even “natural” ones), dyes, denatured alcohol, unnecessary silicones and all “fillers” that do not bring any benefit to the skin, should be avoided. Chanand is about purity, clean and strategically thought-out formulas.

What future plans do you have for Chanand?

Chanand is a project that is built with patience and high standards. Chanand is different, both as a product line and as a development strategy. We develop easily and quickly where the level of education is high.

The super-premium quality of the products will bring constant growth. We are present in the European market in a controlled way, keeping our DNA: clean formulas, real efficiency, consumer education and premium associations without compromise. Chanand will never be a volume brand. It will be a trusted brand.

What are your favourite product from Chanand?

I use all the products and love them all for what I get from them, but I will recommend four products:

1. Depigmenting Oil – is the product that started it all. For me, it was a revelation. It visibly reduces pigment spots without aggression, containing the most effective active of the moment;

2. Vitamin C and Peptide Botox Serum - that contains pure vitamin C, stabilized without water, with rapid results in brightness and tone. It is an essential anti-aging and antioxidant weapon.

3. Moisturizing cream - contains a rare extract that is also called the “fountain of youth” with a proven anti-wrinkle effect.

4. Invisible SPF stick – it provides protection without irritation and can be reapplied over makeup. I carry it in my bag every day.
