Whose artist’s
concert are you most looking forward to?
The festival has a wide range of
artists on its’ lineup that are interesting both for their talent and also for
their professional accomplishments. Taking this into consideration I would like
to be able to listen to Alexandru Tomescu, a violonist whose interpretation of
the opera Paganini has been recommended to me on numerous occasions.
Any piece that you listen to with
pleasure?
,A song I listen frequently, with
the same passion, and actually falling in the festival register is Ride of
the Valkyries by Wagner, especially in the interpretation of the
Vienna Philharmonic. It’s a song that sends very easily the dramatic side of
the story that surrounds it and which I perceive as a whole piece, although it
is just an intro to a whole act.
