This year I am waiting for the „George Enescu” International Festival with double impatience due to the fact that in September 2015, here in Bucharest, we will be able to enjoy two concerts performed by the world-famous Russian conductor Yuri TemirKanov together with the brilliant Saint-Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra. One cannot but admire the interpretation of the Maestro, full of deep emotion and striking sensitivity. But I also see Mr. Temirkanov as a strong and complex personality who managed to guide the oldest Russian orchestra through all the difficulties that emerged on its artistic path to a flourishing revival and world fame.
I would strongly recommend to those who are looking for an unforgettable music experience to attend the concerts of Maestro Temirkanov and Saint-Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra!
