Which is the performance you are looking forward to hear at the “George Enescu” Festival?


I am looking forward to the Great Orchestras of the World series, especially those orchestras whose programs include Enescu (a recent discovery for me), such as the San Francisco Symphony, the London Symphony Orchestra or the Sankt Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra.


Also, I definitely plan to go to the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, whose program is based mainly on J.S. Bach, one of my long time favorites.


Any favorite composer and musical piece?


­ Mozart and Bach – I believe their music borders perfection. ­ Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 and Bach’ Brandenburg Concertos are among my favorite musical pieces from these prodigy composers.


Which is your best musical memory?


An evening at Teatro alla Scala from Milano – an unforgettable performance, where talent meets excellence.
